Los Rumberos has appeared in the Comparsas roll of honour of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival since 1971. Up to its latest recorded award, in 2026, it has won 46 awards across 27 different editions.
In Performance, the category's main contest, it has not yet won first prize, but it has reached the podium: 4 second prizes and 8 third prizes. Its best result: 2nd prize in 1993, 1995, 2008 and 2022.
Outside the main contest it has also won: Presentation (best costume) (5 times), Single prize (1 time) and Audience Award (1 time).
Its award-winning costumes were designed by Juan Carlos Armas (5 awards), José Julio Rodríguez (1 award) and Mari Rodríguez (1 award). Some of its winning costumes: «Vendedora de sabores» (2010), «A ritmo de las olas» (2009), «Magia» (2008) and «Siete estrellas en el cielo» (2007).
